Lakes trail is a beautiful 12 mile round trip hike, surrounded by many giant sequoia trees, beautiful big boulders, wildlife, and creeks all leading to Heather Lake, Aster Lake, and finally arriving to Pear Lake. All levels can join this hike to enjoy a nice swim and lunch in Pear Lake.
Join us for 12 beautiful miles on this day passing four breathtaking lakes to finally take a swim into Pear Lake. This 6 mile hike to Pear Lake will be very rewarding and refreshing to your body! If you are looking to get away from the busy life and unplug from social media and daily schedule, then join us on this amazing hike!
What to Bring
Plan to bring the following items in a small daypack for your guided hike:
2-3 Liters of water per person
Lunch & snacks for the day
A warm layer and/or rainshell
Hat & Sunglasses
Sunscreen
Camera (optional)
Wear comfortable and moisture wicking clothing (especially for the warm summer months of July-August). Comfortable hiking/running shoes that are with grippy soles are the best option for footwear. It's important to check the weather prior to your day to make sure you're dressing appropriately
Trip Itinerary:
8:00 am - Meet at Wolverton Parking Lot
8:30 am - Group Stretch and introduction
8:45 am - Start hike towards Heather Lake
(take small breaks in between)
12:00pm - Arrive at Pear Lake
Enjoy a nice swim and lunch next to the water!
1:30 pm - Depart from Pear Lake (Hike out)
4:00 pm - Arrive back to Parking Lot (Wolverton)
4:30 pm - Good byes, pictures, and head home!

Travel & Logistics
Your trip begins and ends in the Wolverton Parking Lot (Pic-Nic Area) at the Alta Peak Trail Head. You will need your own vehicle or transportation for this day, plan for extra time to get to your destination and find parking. Traffic can be heavy in Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Park during the peak months of summer. You'll be meeting your guide in the Wolverton Parking Lot, right next to the bear canisters and Alta Peak Trailhead. There is plenty of parking area, as well as bathrooms. Directions will be sent to you upon registration.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Final payments are due 90 days prior to departure. Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to trip departure receive a full refund, excluding the non-refundable deposit. Cancellations made 7-29 days prior to trip departure receive 50% refund, excluding the non-refundable deposit. There are no refunds for cancellations made within a week prior to trip departure (0-6 days) or after the trip has begun. No refunds will be made for any unused portions of a trip.
